In his late teens Mattias started working as a sound engineer while promoting and organizing music festivals and shows back home in Sweden. Through working with various touring bands, management companies and organizing Tullakrok Festival (2nd oldest music festival in Scandinavia) he gained a network and before long was pursued to tour with many bands as their Sound Engineer. He has worked as the event manager at small intimate clubs, venues seating up to 25,000, and main stages at festivals of 120,000+. Today Mattias lives in Philadelphia with his family. He’s still touring, producing and collaborating with talents all over the world. He is currently developing workshops that teach how to enter into the touring industry, work the different roles and how to sustain the independent lifestyle it takes to pursue this kind of workforce.
